Juice Cleanse
Health Benefits & more!
What Is A Juice Cleanse?
When a cleanse is done using only juices as a diet, it is called Juice Cleanse. A juice cleanse is a type of diet that involves consuming only juices from vegetables and fruits.
The food we consume is fuel to our bodies and as humans, unfortunately, we often get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and leave our nutritional needs behind. Typically cleanse packages are designed to give your body enough nutrition that your body needs on any normal day. However, a juice diet gives your digestive system a break and is used to bring the balance of good and bad bacteria back into your intestine.
iJuice provides a plan created just for you to help you get your groove back! You’ve made a great decision and we couldn’t be happier to experience this exciting journey with you.

What Are The Benefits Of A Juice Cleanse?
There are tons of health benefits but here are a few!
Rest your digestive system. Your body's engine is working all day all night. When you give it a rest from solid food, the digestive tracts get a chance to heal themselves. This helps in better absorption of nutrition from food when you start eating after your cleanse.
Juices help improve digestion by introducing healthy enzymes that make the gut work more efficiently.
Your normal food feeds the bad bacteria in your intestines. When you starve them by not eating your normal food, they die so your body is able to flush toxins.
Juices are rich in anti-inflammatory compounds that boost the immune system and helps you feel more energetic.
When Should I Drink My Juice?
The best time to drink juice is in the morning. On an empty stomach. If you are on a juice cleanse and are having multiple juices, please refer to the timeline you received in your email for exact times.
The nutrients in juices are quickly absorbed when you drink juice on an empty stomach in the morning. If you enjoy your juice with a meal, this process takes longer and some nutrients may not be fully absorbed.
How Often Should I Cleanse?
Listen to your body! We recommend doing a juice cleanse as often as you feel the need to do so. Whether you are ready to jumpstart your healthy eating habits or you’re recovering from a weekend filled with partying! Your body knows best :)
Can I Eat While On My Juice Cleanse?
Fruit digests in your body really quickly. If you combine fruit and or vegetable juice with a heavy meal, what happens is that they digest at different times. This can cause acid reflux or indigestion. However, fruit and vegetables generally work well together. So if you do prefer to have a juice with a meal, pair it with a green vegetable salad or simple raw vegetable dish. This provides the most alkalizing effect.
Can I Drink My Coffee?
To all of our coffee lovers!! Make sure you drink your juice at least an hour before or after your coffee, as the acidity of the coffee will cancel out the juice's alkalizing effects. Ideally, you should try to replace coffee entirely with your morning juice, which can be equally energizing.

HEALTH
What if I feel light headed, nauseous, or discomfort?
During the juice cleanse, especially if you are new to juicing, your body works hard to release the toxins and cleanse your liver. That being said, if you feel that your body is not responding well to the cleanse, you should stop the cleanse immediately and consult with your doctor.
Can I Do A Juice Cleanse (without eating) While Pregnant or Nursing
Juicing while pregnant and nursing is healthy for both mommy and baby. We do not recommend you choose to juice only while on your cleans. Continue to eat healthy foods (tons of fruit and veggies) throughout the day while cleansing.
Are Your Products Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Nut Free
Yes
Can I Exercise During A Cleanse?
Keep it cute! Keep it simple! We do not recommend rigorous workouts during the juice cleanse. Try gentle exercises such as stretching and yoga. Take this time to show your temple some self-love and affection!
